We remember David very fondly. He was probably the first person we met when we came to Rising Brook! His beaming smile of welcome, kind greeting, and brotherly kiss were much appreciated by our young family feeling a bit lost in Stafford! And your lovely mum and dad invited us to Sunday lunch early on – with 2 young children and a baby! A brave and supremely kind thing to do! We send love from John’s dad, Graham, my parents, brother Tim, and of course, from Katherine and Phil. We have all appreciated his warm, calm, kind presence at the entrance to church, which for some of us was a slightly scary place to come to. He made us feel more relaxed and ‘at home’. May he be at home and at peace now.
