Your Dad was such a special person. He was a great influence in my life over such a long time. When I was Church Secretary he was there in the background, someone I could always go to for advice and help. He was full of thoughtfulness and wisdom. His concern for others and pastoral heart was an inspiration. So many in the Church will miss his unofficial pastoral role. They knew him as a friend who was interested in them and concerned about them. We will all miss him so much!
