A and M 14th December 2020

We are thankful for our friendship with your dad. He was a great support to us when we were in Stafford, and played no small part in helping us settle in when we first came down. We stayed with your mum and dad when we first visited and always felt welcome in their home. I will always remember his welcoming presence at the church door through my four years of ministry at RBBC. I always think of Sangster's comment that the older he got, the less heaven was a place with "streets of gold" and the more it became a place populated by good friends. This is where our faith comes into its own. "Death - where is your sting?" Grace and peace to you all through the days ahead.
