We have known David and Joy for so many years it does seem like a lifetime. On reflection of our years at Rising Brook the image of David is one of a true statesman. He was a supporting pillar of the church and a foundation stone on which Rising Brook has been built. A man of wisdom, complete humility and selfless determination, a man who listened, always greeted you with genuine concern and a big smile! We also know he was so respected and valued within his workplace. We have mixed emotions because where there is loss and grieving here o earth there is great rejoicing in heaven for a great life that has been well played out, well lived , a man who stayed true to his word and therefore holds respect from everyone who was privileged to know him.
