I want to say thank you for all that you have done for me during the long time that we have known each other, which stretches from around 1978, when I first came from Denmark to Stafford. You taught me a lot about electrical engineering, about twin and treble triplers and other Static Var compensators, nasty things such as harmonics and unbalances and how to keep these under control, and a lot about being kind and generous to others. We didn’t see each other very much after I moved down to Bexhill, but were still in contact occasionally. In 2016 you accepted my invitation to participate in the Green Book on FACTS, and you led and participated in three chapters, which were very well written and informative. The book was finally complete in 2019, and was published as a printed book in 2020. I thank you for all the hard work and for providing a big contribution to the GB on FACTS.
You will be much missed by your family and your many friends. You have been an inspiration to anyone who met you, because of your kindness and positive attitude, and will be much missed by everyone.
