We all know and recognise what a great engineer you are, just how much you have achieved, and just how much that has been recognised, in the Industry, and Worldwide.
You and I first met 50 years ago when the Power Transmission Division was formed in Stafford in April 1970 under the management of Alesha Gavrilovic.
Two years later, we flew to Lucknow to 'loose' our first order together, to ACEC, whose local man bribed the chief engineer with a scooter! but I don't think we ever lost another!
I think of your best achievement as the wonderful job the compensators at Sellindge (2) and Ninfield (1) did for the Cross Channel Project; they are a monument to your achievements and will last for ever.
I also think of the wonderful Nelson Gold Medal you received, towards the end of your career, nevertheless it was just one of your many trophies, reflecting your consistently good work.
My Best Wishes, Keith.
